Fun with Pumkpins....Prelude to Halloween

Yesterday (10/26) we took our annual trip up to Nicasio Valley Farm to our favorite pumpkin patch with our friends the Tungseths.  This is Nolan's third trip up with his buddy Jonas, so they know the place (and the promise of fresh ice cream) well. 

Mema & Bepa have created Where the Wild Things Are costumes for Nolan and Jack, so we're looking forward to some Halloween parties to show them off! Pics will follow shortly.

As well, Jack has started learning to eat some simple solid foods, bananas, avocado and such, and is now a serial roller-over'er!  Time to baby proof again....

Nolan's Birthday Party

We had a great time celebrating Nolan with friends, good food and a bounce house in our cleaned up back yard!

Belated Father's Day Outing

With life so crazy, we put off Father's Day until today and Christine surprised me with a trip to an ollalieberry farm in Pescadero. Here are some pics of the day. Oh, and Jack had his 2 month check up and is following in Nolan's footsteps. He is 95th percentile weight and 85th percentile for height. We will take baby pics tomorrow and get them out ASAP, but for now enjoy these:

Road Trip to Colorado

Well, we survived 3 days of driving on America's Loneliest Highway (Hwy 50) and the Rocky Mountains, stopping for a lot of steam engine visits along the way. Here are the pics.

Jack Hits One Month!

As Jack gets older, longer and rounder, so also the quality of Nolan's treats increases as we attempt to keep him potty trained. In seeking to appease LD (little dictator), Nolan has reaped some pretty good rewards in our attempt to get him consistently back in big boy underwear (including a Giants game!). I hope it doesn't come back to bite us later!
